During the National Hockey League game between the hometown Winnipeg Jets and the visiting Edmonton Oilers, the PA announcer at Canada Life Centre announced the Jets had won the Presidents Trophy.
It’s the first time in history a NHL team based in Winnipeg has won the honours.
